Being a Verona wedding photographer is always such a great satisfaction, even during cloudy days. Even though the city of Verona is renown for its colorful sunny streets, beauty and poetry can still be found under a curtain of clouds. I’m sure you’ve certainly heard about this special Italian city before, also known as “the City of Love”. In facts, William Shakespeare’s tragedy “Romeo and Juliet” tells about two Italian lovers living in Verona! When wandering around the medieval alleys of this city, I swear you can almost feel immersed in those ancient times. I highly recommend to always look up when visiting Verona, because each little balcony and unique window tells a story in this city of wonders. The romantic and cozy atmosphere of the old city centre make Verona the most perfect scenario for engagement and wedding photoshoots.

When I met Natalia and Jose from Canary Islands, we hoped for a nice October afternoon without rain to capture some cozy memories of their trip. Walking around Verona was such a mesmerizing experience behind every corner, from cobblestone alleys to the incredibly famous Romeo and Juliet’s Balcony. We stopped by picturesque palaces and wooden doors, old brick walls and secret narrow alleys to capture the most romantic love memories. And of course Piazza delle Erbe and the Arena di Verona were mandatory stops during our photoshoot! The cloudy weather definitely helped us having an almost empty city, and I was able to capture some amazing wide shots around Ponte di Pietra and along the Adige river. Surrounded by soft light and a chilly breeze, Natalia and Jose explored Verona hand in hand. Their sweet love was the most emotional thing to capture for me as their wedding photographer in Verona!
