Matteo and Carolina’s rustic Italian countryside wedding at the wonderful Rome wedding venue Casale di Polline literally stole my heart. From the very beginning of the civil ceremony until the final crazy dances, happiness and party vibes were all over the place! Outdoor civil ceremony by lake Bracciano
Matteo and Carolina decided to make their entrance hand in hand, since they both recently lost their parents and wanted to arrive under the arch in a symbolic way, stronger together. They exchanged their vows in a wonderful field above Lake Bracciano, between their friend’s and family emotional words and genuine applauses. Matteo also prepared a surprise for the bride, singing a love song to her! The civil ceremony at this incredible Rome wedding venue was very intimate and heartfelt, and the bohemian flower arch and white petals on the ground added a stylish and romantic touch to the whole scene!
Rome wedding venue for modern couples
As an Italian wedding photographer, I continuously visit a lot of locations and wonderful places. I have a long list of great locations when it comes to choose where to get married in Italy, but let me tell you Casale di Polline is one of my favorites Rome wedding venues. The whole ancient casale and the surrounding green areas are the most perfect background for some after-wedding couple portraits at sunset. The secret for some candid, spontaneous and modern wedding portraits is not only in the comfort and movements of the couple, but also in the timing: sunset and sunrise are absolutely the best moments of the day for taking pictures, with their soft light and warm atmosphere… and you surely want to consider this when planning your wedding day! In this case, the light reflecting on the lake and the last golden rays of the sun touching Matteo and Carolina enhanced their intimate and emotional first moments as bride and groom.
Stylish tepee wedding reception
Matteo and Carolina’s tepee wedding reception at Casale di Polline, one of the best Rome wedding venues, was incredible. Lincei catering prepared a stunning table setting full of fairy lights and colored flowers, in a rustic bohemian-chic style. Every detail was in the right place, and the dinner was absolutely delicious too! And as in every true Italian wedding, the night ended with crazy dances on the dance floor, including an exclusive dj set by the bride and groom themselves! What a cool and fun wedding night, thank you Matteo and Carolina for wanting me to capture such a lovely event!
